Terms & Conditions

These terms cover how you may use this website, what an estimate does and doesn't commit either of us to, and the rules that apply to installation work.

Last updated

1. Accepting these terms

By using this website, submitting an estimate request, or having work performed by Softroc of Central Texas ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or submit a request.

2. Using this website

You may use this site to learn about our services and to request an estimate. You agree not to misuse it, including by submitting false information, attempting to interfere with the site or its security, scraping content in bulk, or using the site for any unlawful purpose.

3. Estimates and quotes

Requesting an estimate is free and does not obligate you to buy anything, and it does not obligate us to perform work. Prices shown or discussed before an on-site visit are general guidance only.

  • A binding price requires an on-site measurement and a written quote from us.
  • Written quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote. After that, material and labor costs may change.
  • If conditions found during installation differ materially from what was visible at the estimate, such as hidden slab damage, drainage problems, or structural issues, we will stop and discuss revised scope and pricing with you before continuing.

4. Service area

We serve Waco, Temple, Killeen, Belton, Salado, Harker Heights, Copperas Cove, Gatesville, and surrounding Central Texas communities. Requests outside our area may be referred to another installer in the Softroc network or declined. Call (512) 982-6689 if you are unsure whether you are in range.

5. Scheduling, weather, and delays

Poured-in-place rubber surfacing is installed and cured outdoors, so it depends on temperature and moisture. We may reschedule installation for rain, cold, high humidity, or other conditions that would affect the finished surface. We will give you as much notice as we can. Dates provided in advance are good-faith estimates, not guarantees.

6. Site condition and customer responsibilities

To install safely and on schedule, we need you to:

  • Provide clear access to the work area, including a path for equipment and materials
  • Remove furniture, planters, vehicles, and personal items from the area before crews arrive
  • Secure pets and keep children away from the work area during installation and curing
  • Provide access to water and a standard electrical outlet if needed
  • Disclose known issues with the slab, drainage, sprinklers, or buried utilities in the area
  • Keep foot and vehicle traffic off the surface for the full cure time we specify

Installation requires a structurally sound substrate. If the existing surface cannot support a quality installation, we will tell you what repairs are needed first. Damage caused by traffic on a surface that has not fully cured is not covered by warranty.

7. Pricing, payment, and financing

Final pricing, deposit amount, and payment schedule are set out in your written quote or contract. Deposits secure your material order and install date. Balances are due as stated in that document. Late payments may incur charges permitted by Texas law.

Financing, where offered, is provided by third-party lenders. Approval, rates, and terms are set by the lender, not by us, and are subject to their application and credit review. We do not make credit decisions.

8. Cancellation and rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule by contacting us. Cancellations made close to the install date may forfeit part or all of a deposit, because materials are ordered and crews are committed in advance. The specific terms for your project are stated in your signed quote or contract, which controls if it conflicts with this page.

9. Warranty

Completed installations are covered by the written warranty provided with your project documents. Coverage, duration, and exclusions are defined in that document. Warranties generally do not cover damage from misuse, neglect, improper cleaning products, structural movement or failure of the slab underneath, alterations made by others, or events outside our control. Normal wear and gradual color change from sun exposure are expected over the life of any outdoor surface.

10. Project photos and testimonials

We may photograph completed work for our portfolio, website, and marketing. Photos will not include your name, street address, or other identifying details unless you give us permission. Tell your rep if you prefer we not photograph your property and we will note it on your file.

11. Trademarks and content

Softroc® and related names and logos are trademarks of their owner and are used here under license as an authorized installer. Text, photos, and layout on this site are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, republish, or reuse them commercially without written permission.

12. Disclaimers

Information on this site, including timelines, temperature comparisons, and performance descriptions, is provided for general guidance. Actual results vary with the condition of the substrate, site exposure, color blend, climate, and use. Except for the written warranty provided with your project, this site and its content are provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to this website or an installation is limited to the amount you paid us for the work at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost use or lost profits. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

14. Disputes and governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue directly. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Texas, unless your signed contract specifies another process.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our services or the law changes. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Your signed quote, contract, or warranty document always controls over this page where the two differ.
